Since 2015 West Coast Pre Fab has been maintaining industrial, municipal and commercial equipment and infrastructure across Western Canada.

Maintenance Crews

WCPF hires more than 300 trades annually for jobs between 1 and 150 personnel. Typically, millwrights, welders and pipefitters make up the majority of the crew. Support trades of ironworkers, carpenters, gas fitters and instrument mechanics are occasionally required and staffed.

Even within a trade, we keep records of personnel experience to accurately dispatch trades. For example a millwright installing a new 36” wide drag chain may not have the experience in steam turbine preventative maintenance, adjusting the hydraulic governor or installing robotics. Just as welders are tickets and experienced in many different procedures.

Mobile Operations

Our fleet of semi trucks, shipping seacans and bumper pull trailers are outfitted for mobile operations. We can tool up for remote barge-in sites, large tasks with over 100 persons right down to light hand tools for fly-in jobs. Our well equipped mobile rigs are customized for each job.

Emergency Service

We are available 24/7 for breakdowns or on short notice where others cannot meet your requirements. We have support and trades available and have tooling ready. Like you, we know planned jobs are more productive and less costly, but WCPF knows this is not always possible.

Planned Work

The largest portion of our business is planned maintenance and small projects. We have the mechanisms in place to efficiently plan and execute the work. Our most common project might be 14 varied trades with a supervisor and working foreman. We can assist with some of the methods of construction, procurement or pre-fabrication and execution in the week, two or three that it takes.

Large Turnarounds

With the capacity to crew up for larger turnarounds and projects, WCPF has become a leading shutdown company in Western Canada. We have the experience and support team to manager large crews for your short duration maintenance and projects.
